From now until January 2017, we are seeking board members.

If you are someone who is interested in increased literacy for all ages, ready to support and promote the St. Thomas Regional (Tutu) Library, and can make a commitment to volunteer service for at least two years, the Friends of St. Thomas Public Libraries want you to consider becoming a member of their Board of Directors!

Since 1982, the Friends of St. Thomas Public Libraries initiated programs such as the Hospital Library Cart, Day Care Literacy, Summer Reading Program, Friday Night Reading Corner at Yacht Haven and Advocacy on behalf of the new Library in Tutu. Standing committees are: Membership, Advocacy, Programs, Library Volunteers, and Funding and any others designated by the Board of Directors. The Board meets quarterly and as needed.

Prospective Board members are subject to a vote by FOSTPL members at the upcoming Annual Meeting to be held in January 2017.

If you are interested or know of someone who would make a great addition to our Board, please contact The Friends at:
