International Museum Month Observance at Fort Christian Museum

The Department of Planning and Natural Resources
Division of Libraries, Archives & Museums presents “International Museum Month Observance” with a series of open house events at the Fort Christian Museum, St. Thomas USVI May 15-19, 2019.

All are invited to this weeklong celebration at the Fort Christian National Historic Landmark Site – extended hours, cultural activities and presenations…

  • Wednesday May 15, 5pm-7pm
  • Saturday May 18, 10am-2pm
  • Sunday May 19, 10am-2pm

Featuring

  • Storytelling by Glenn “Kwabena” Davis’ mentees
  • Poetry Out Loud finalists
  • Music by local schools to include Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School’s Flambo Combo and Aben Marrerro on steel pan
  • Cultural presentations by Culture Shock, Enchantment Dancers, Mungo Niles Cultural Dancers, Pan in Motion and St. Thomas Heritage Dancers
