2008 Annual Meeting

From the desk of FOSTPL President JJ Estemac

The Friends of the St. Thomas Public Libraries (FOSTPL) encourages and invites all residents who are interested in giving back to the community and providing service, to consider joining FOSTPL. Join our efforts in promoting literacy and advocacy for our public libraries. Our annual membership meeting is January 28, at 6 pm. in the Sun Room of the Roy L. Schneider Hospital cafeteria. Membership applications and refreshments will be available. 신용카드 현금화

Come, be a friend, volunteer your services in any of the several programs sponsored by FOSTPL. We need volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors, to participate in children programs, book collection and redistribution, fund raising, community outreach, the hospital book cart, etc.

We recommend you visit our public library, the Enid M. Baa Public Library on Main Street, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas. Discover the variety of books and other information available for your recreation and edification. We encourage you to bookmark our website to obtain more information about us and how to contact us. Be a good neighbor, a good citizen and be of service to our community. The community needs your service; volunteer!

Currently, we are monitoring the proposed new library and archive center to be built in the Tutu area of the island. We advocate that such a center be adequately equipped and staffed with qualified personnel. Your support and participation are needed and requested. “Ask what you can do for your community and your community will do for you”.
